This is Kim Jourdan, a great Dane breeder, who on Friday met her unfortunate and sudden demise, whilst being a hero pawrent. She is a member of the Spencer Askew group on Facebook, who brought this news to the awareness of the General public.
According to the group Kim Jourdan was a breeder of Prime Danes. Her house, on Friday, caught fire, and she had managed to get outside, however, in her selfless act of heroism, Kim returned to the building several times to save her furbabies (dogs) a situation in which she succeeded. However after rescuing the dogs, she was no where to be seen.
She was later found inside the house unconscious and pronounced dead. Of the last things she did, was placing a puppy in the sealed oven in the kitchen, the puppy survived, but sadly Kim didn't.
The Spencer Askew group, expressing their sadness on Facebook community, stated that the community of great Dane breeders is Shaken and Kim will be missed .
This is a true, selfless act of heroism. Not much people in this time will do such a thing, especially the shallow minded with the mind set that "they are just dogs"
The thought of seeing your dogs burning and scratching for help alone. And if we will think like them for a second, I'm sure - from experience (not death defining) if the dogs knew She wouldn't make it out alive; they probably would choose to go instead of her.
What do you think?
